Is Big Walk crossplay?

Yes. Crossplay is listed as an official feature on the Steam store page — players on Steam (Windows/macOS), PS5 and Switch 2 can join the same session together. There's no separate crossplay toggle mentioned; it works across all three officially supported platforms by default.

What's not officially supported

Which version should you buy?
